Founded in 1957, the Georgetown University College Democrats (GUCD) is the largest progressive organization on Georgetown's campus. Entirely student-run, it represents the Democratic Party on campus and leads activism and organizing on progressive issues at Georgetown and beyond. Throughout the year, GUCD organizes phonebanks, canvasses across the DMV, hosts speakers on campus, and much more. Whether it's advocating for environmental justice, standing up to big tech CEOs, leading the charge to end legacy admissions, or giving a voice to workers on campus, GUCD is committed to continuing its long history of inspiring change and creating brighter futures.
